The NGO, HEART OF GHANA WORK AND TOURS is a community based developmental NGO that strives to provide people especially young adults with a rewarding experience and adventure travel programs aimed at providing growth and development of children and women in underdeveloped touristic communities.
The NGO offers wonderful opportunities for volunteers to not just visit Ghana, but contribute their knowledge, skills and passion to our underdeveloped village communities.
There are well tailored projects executed by this NGO to solve the many pertinent issues affecting people especially women and children in these deprived communities.
The NGO has adopted two deprived tour communities, where it is stationed for its operations .One is located at the tip of the Volta region, specifically at Ada Foa, on one of its many isolated rural island communities and also in Busua ,a coastal village community in the Ahanta West District

HOGWAT TRAIN
One unique project,exclusive to HEART OF GHANA WORK AND TOURS is the“HOGWATs TRAIN” which is literally bringing development to the door steps of deprived tour communities outside our catchment area,and this involves a 12-day tour to all major tour areas in Ghana with stops at selected schools, hospitals,churches and other organizations,making presentations to educate them on HIV AIDS,effects of child labour and also home country presentations to children tagged “global village” aimed at giving these school children a global perspective.
