ICT NOW
FOCUS:SCHOOLS
This project,a subsidiary of the School Care project is the main tool to promote the teaching of ICT in the various schools in our adopted communities.
END CHILD LABOUR NOW
FOCUS:CHILDREN
child labour,this project is directed to address the numerous child labour issues in these coastal communities since it is very common to see children of school going age engaging in deep sea fishing during school sessions.
SHIFT CLINIC
HOGWAT's TRAIN
FOCUS: HEALTH
This project seeks to boost the health conditions of our adopted villages by supporting the local clinic with the volunteers with medical backgrounds to improve on their quality of life
One unique project,exclusive to HEART OF GHANA WORK AND TOURS is the “HOGWATs TRAIN” which is literally bringing development to the door steps of deprived tour communities outside our catchment area,and this involves a 12-day tour to all major tour areas in Ghana with stops at selected schools, hospitals, churches and other organizations, making presentations to educate them on HIV AIDS,effects of child labour and also home country presentations to children tagged “global village” aimed at giving these school children a global perspective.
